Trojan Battery Co. introduces new extended range lithium battery pack
Trojan Battery Co. unveiled the Trojan Lithium OnePack Extended Range (XR), a 48V, 171Ah lithium-ion battery pack. According to the company, OnePack XR has multiple layers of safety, more capacity, the ability to travel longer distances per charge and a best-in-class warranty. Its overall performance makes OnePack XR ideal for low-speed recreational vehicles (LSEVs), such as 6-8 passenger golf carts.

We recognize the growing adoption of LSEVs in living communities, as well as electrical shuttle vehicles. Expanding our Trojan Lithium OnePack family with our new Extended Range addresses the needs of these applications, helping Trojan Battery maintain its leadership position in the golf cart and LSEV markets,” said Laurie Oswald, chief commercial officer of Trojan Battery.
Trojan Battery Co. says the OnePack XR offers:
- Longer travel times, with a range of up to 75 miles
- The ability to achieve the 75-mile range at only 48V creates safer operation than comparable high voltage (>60V) options.
- An eight-year warranty
- Easy installation and operation
- OnePack XR batteries do not require watering, making them maintenance-free.
- LSEV users can download the Trojan SmartBattery App. With the app installed, battery status can be monitored in real time from a mobile device.
- Trojan Battery offers the OnePack XR Bundle. The complete package includes the Trojan Lithium 48V 171Ah battery, as well as vehicle-specific mounting brackets, state-of-charge gauge kit and power button, and a variety of charger options.
- Dealers can order Trojan Lithium OnePack XR – and all Trojan lithium-ion batteries – using the new Trojan Lithium Direct program.
