The Cabot Collection, which operates a collection of luxury resort and residential golf destinations, opened Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Fla.

The property offers two renovated 18-hole courses, two shorter courses, luxury real estate and amenities. Citrus Farms is the first U.S. property under The Cabot Collection.

“The former World Woods Golf Club always stood out to me for its enchanting setting and dramatic elevation changes unlike anything I’d ever seen across the state of Florida,” said Ben Cowan-Dewar, CEO and co-founder of Cabot. “It has been an honor to reimagine this iconic site alongside our amazing team. We drew inspiration from the property’s rich history and natural beauty to create a destination that will bring people together through incredible golf experiences, outdoor adventures and a strong sense of community.”

Cabot Citrus Farms features the Karoo and Roost as its 18-hole courses. Both are 7,200-yard par 72 courses. The Squeeze is a 10-hole course offering a mix of par threes, par fours and par fives. Finally, The Wedge is an 11-hole par three course with speakers and low-profile lighting allowing golfers to play after dark.

A limited number of homes are available for purchase on the property. Resort guests can rent a cottage if they are looking to visit for a limited time. The property features fully stocked comfort stations on every course, a golf pro shop, a sporting club, The Porch which is an outdoor area to gather with food and beverage options and additional amenities to roll out throughout the year.

Cabot is the first multi-property brand to enroll every golf course and surrounding built environment into Audubon International’s comprehensive, all-inclusive Platinum Signature Sanctuary certification program. The Entire Cabot Citrus Farms property is under one certification umbrella.
