This year, at the 2025 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show, PBI-Gordon Corporation will feature four of its key products and hold a special raffle for attendees at its booth.
Spotlight on Top Products
At its booth — No. 2137 at the San Diego Convention Center — PBI-Gordon will feature Segway fungicide, as well as Aethon, Arkon and Q4 Plus turf herbicides:
Segway Fungicide SC offers preventative and curative control of all four types of
Pythium development: Pythium root dysfunction, Pythium blight, Pythium damping-off and
Pythium root rot. With no known cross-resistance with existing fungicides. It is labeled for use on both cool and warm-season turfgrass varieties.
Aethon Herbicide SL for Turfgrass is specifically formulated for warm season, southern turfgrass varieties (including improved varieties of St. Augustinegrass). The liquid herbicide is a blend of active ingredients, pyrimisulfan and penoxsulam. It’s specifically formulated to offer post-emergent control of numerous broadleaf weeds, sedges and kyllinga. Additionally, research has shown that it reduced the viability of nutsedge tubers and kyllinga rhizomes.
Arkon Herbicide Liquid utilizes the proprietary active ingredient pyrimisulfan to provide postemergent control of sedges, kyllinga, dollar weed, chickweed, henbit and many other labeled broadleaf weeds. Labeled for use on both cool and warm-season turfgrass varieties, the liquid herbicide also reduces the number and viability of nutsedge tubers.
Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide for Grassy & Broadleaf Weeds combines four active ingredients into a single formulation that kills crabgrass and other tough broadleaf weeds, including foxtail, chickweed, clover and dandelion. Because it is pre-mixed, Q4 Plus reduces the need for tank mixing, reducing labor costs. It is highly selective on cool-season turfgrasses — which makes it ideal for use on perennial and annual ryegrasses, listed bluegrasses and fescues. It can also be used on bermudagrass and other select warm-season turf species.
