The 22-year-old from Madrid turned professional three months ago after a 2024 campaign that also included his second low-amateur trophy at the Spanish Open and becoming the first Spanish amateur to make the cut at the British Open.

"We're excited about him," Fireballs captain Garcia said. "He's a really good, exciting young Spanish player. A lot of potential."

Joining 2017 Masters champion Garcia and Masaveu on the team lineup is compatriot David Puig and Mexico's Abraham Ancer.

"Coming in and playing with the big guns, I think it's going to be a good learning experience," Garcia said. "We're going to be there to support him, cheer him on and make sure that he can enjoy his game and play the way he can play."

Masaveu looks forward to playing alongside boyhood idol Garcia.

"It's amazing. It's awesome," said Masaveu. "I've been watching him since I was a kid, him winning the Masters and in the Ryder Cup, so, it's just incredible."
