Turf Materials hires Scott Hickey as new regional sales manager

Turf Materials hired Scott Hickey as regional sales manager of Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee. Turf Materials is a family-owned and family-operated supplier of sands and aggregates for the golf course and sports field industry. The company falls under Coyote Rock, an umbrella company which provides the greater Southwestern region of the United States with material, hauling and transportation services.

Hickey currently resides in Morrison, Tenn., but he is originally from Clarksdale, Miss. Most recently, Hickey served as superintendent at Hardscrabble Country Club for 29 years. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1985 with a degree from the turf grass program before he began his career in 1986 as superintendent of Las Colinas Country Club where he worked until 1995, prior to his tenure at Hardscrabble Country Club.

Hickey joins Turf Materials with substantial knowledge and extensive experience, helping him to guide customers and deliver premier products that fit with clients’ needs.

Turf Materials also provides services such as custom aggregate blending, power screening to remove foreign debris and haul off services of any size.
