Terrifying moment pythons FIGHT over female suitor on golf course just metres away from fearless onlooker
MEGA fearless or magnificently focused? A golfer somehow ignored two male pythons fighting over a female snake just yards away on a course as he concentrated on his game.
The player refused to get a wriggle on – unlike the pythons as they writhed for the right to mate a nearby female.
The constrictors were no restricters for the golfer as he calmly retrieved a ball and took his time over his swing.
The battling snakes were even facing straight at him as he took a few practice shots then dispatched the ball from the green.
It won’t surprise many sports fans to hear the slippery scenes were in Australia – Brisbane, in fact.
Pythons make up a quarter of all snakes in Oz, although their attentions are suffocating not venomous and usually unthreatening to humans
And viewers online were as amused as shocked by the sight of a golfer playing on serenely despite two such beasts thrashing around so close to him.
One observer posted: “Just a couple dudes hoping for a hole in one.”
Another urged the snakes: “Get a room.”
And a third speculated: “Just a normal day in Australia?”

Meanwhile, one fan admired the single-minded behaviour – of the pythons, not the player.
He wrote: “Snakes said “y’all can watch if you want’.”
