A video of the Las Vegas Sphere's giant eyeball next to Wynn Golf Club had everyone laughing
Las Vegas’ new The Sphere at The Venetian Resort has been capturing plenty of attention ever since it lit up for the first time earlier this month, and it’s now keeping a watchful eye — quite literally — over the golfers at the Wynn Golf Club.
A video started going viral over the weekend of the Sphere lit up with a giant human eyeball overlooking Las Vegas’ Wynn Golf Club, a facility that essentially calls the Sphere its next-door neighbor.
Sports and business personality Joe Pompliano pointed out that the Wynn Golf Club is one of the most prestigious public-access golf courses in the country and that the new Sphere might be — forgive the pun — a major eyesore to those trying to get 18 holes in while visiting Las Vegas.
The Wynn Golf Club is one of the most expensive public-access courses in the country ($600+).
And now you must stare at a 366-foot tall and 516-foot wide fake eyeball while you play.
They can’t be happy about that.pic.twitter.com/l25PDmlT4C

However, the rest of us cannot stop laughing at the idea of a hideous human eyeball sphere the size of Godzilla looking at someone while they’re trying to putt a golf ball to stay under par. Like, c’mon, this is the jackpot of unintentional golf hazard comedy.
At least New York Knicks Josh Hart didn’t seem too phased by the Sphere for the next time he plays golf in Vegas.
Welp I’ll still be playing there when I get to Vegas lol https://t.co/aCgrj6vegD
