23rd Singapore National Amateur Championship

The 23nd Singapore National Amateur Championship (SNAC) is back, held at The Singapore Island Country Club, Island Course with a total of 63 participants.

Men’s Division saw SGA National Squad players Sean Lee and Troy Storm leading in Round 1, with a 3-under 69, ahead of defending champion, Brandon Han and SGA National Squad player Justin Kuk recording a 2-under 70 equally.

In the ladies’ division, Sydnie Ng took the lead in the women’s division with an opening 74 (+2), ahead of defending champion Xingtong Chen and SGA Development Squad Denise Ng carding a 76 (+4) and 78 (+6) respectively.

The second qualifying round will be played tomorrow with the top 16 men and top 8 women proceeding into the matchplay knockout rounds.
