[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Falcons began spring season with sixth-place finish at San Antonio Shootout
SAN ANTONIO – The Friends University Falcons opened the spring portion of their season with a sixth-place showing at the San Antonio Shootout at the TPC Oaks Course in San Antonio, Texas.
The Falcons put together a three-round score of 302-307-318-927, with Southwestern University winning the tournament with a score of 287-300-300-887.
Gerardo Alemany was the top finishing Falcon, coming in tied for 11th overall (75-78-75-228).
Trinton Nobels (73-77-79-229) was tied for 16th, with Trenton Sutherland (77-73-83-233) winding up tied for 24th.
Louis Louchet (77-79-81-237) came in 32nd overall and Harrison Middleton (83-87-83-253) finished 44th.
The Falcons, under head coach Dustin Galyon, are next scheduled to compete on Mar. 20-21 at the Oakwood Intercollegiate in Enid, Okla.
