If You Need Something to Do

I’m not much of a winter sports enthusiast and once Snowfest is over (our 32nd Snowfest was great by the way) I really look forward to warmer weather.

In the meantime, I like to get away a few times to enjoy some warmer weather. The kids had a long weekend break and we decided to take a quick trip to the Orlando area. We had been there in the Fall for a convention and my wife and I agreed it there’s quite a bit to do, even if you don’t go to any of the Disney parks. Well, when got there on Friday, the nighttime low was 28 degrees and Saturday and Sunday it never got above 46 degrees. It was warmer in Frankenmuth! We managed to have a good time in spite of the weather.

If you need something to do in February, Zehnder’s has something for you. Friday nights seem to be hopping with activity. Our annual Fish Fry in Z Chef’s Café begins February 10th and runs through April 7th. We begin at 4 pm and go until 8:30 pm. Check our website for the menu as it changes each week.

Each Friday, our Tap Room is host to Friday Night Flights. Enjoy one of our 20 craft beers and light snacks. Entertainment begins about 6 pm and runs until about 9 pm. Great stop before or after the Fish Fry.

Of course, it’s always 82 degrees and sunny at Zehnder’s Splash Village. Few things more satisfying than watching it snow outside as you sit in one of our hot tubs. A great way to splash the day away with the whole family.
