[FRND] Friends University Falcon Golf Classic scheduled for June 27
WICHITA, Kan. – The annual Friends University Falcon Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for June 27 at the Crestview Country Club in Wichita. Crestview Country Club also serves as the host of the Wichita Open and Korn Ferry Tour.
This year's edition will now feature two sessions with 7:30 am and 1:30 pm start times.
Participants will enjoy lunch, and 18 holes of golf along with complimentary beverages and snacks.
The entry fee is $200 per player and $800 for a four-player team, with exclusive sponsorship opportunities available.
Numerous contests and prizes will also be offered, highlighted by a Putting Contest for two tickets to the Masters.
The first session will check in at 6:30 am, with the range, chipping green and putting green also set to open at that time.
The second session will check in at 11:30 am, with lunch being served from 11:30 am-12:45 pm.
One of the top charity golf tournaments in the city last year, the expectation is that this year's event will be even bigger.
"We are looking forward to more record-setting performances, so come out and join us," said Dale Faber, Friends University Assistant Athletic Director of Development. "There is not a better or classier way to avoid your work's responsibilities than playing in the Friends University Golf Tournament. We will make some improvements to our format without the requirement that your game has improved. We are looking forward to it!"
