miclub IS COMING to Berwick Montuna
Late last year the Club were notified that the support for the “MSL (Micropower) Golf Management” system currently being used here would end in 2022. Based on this, the Board agreed to review the popular MiClub suite of software being used by the majority of Clubs in Victoria. This involved demonstrations from both providers being conducted here at the Club earlier this year. On completing the review and closely considering what both systems were offering, the Board have agreed to move to MiClub. Over 650 Clubs Australia wide currently use the MiClub system, including many local clubs such as Cardinia Beaconhills, Warragul, Settlers Run and Cranbourne. The MiClub system provides both additional features and efficiencies for members and club administration. Member Benefits include:
- Mobile Device Specific operations
- MiScore Scoring App
- Management of member accounts within single members area
- Enhanced Communication facilities
- A range of convenient member services
The new MiClub systems will be implemented in stages during June to August. Further details regarding specific changeover dates and instructions will be provided in the coming weeks.
The miscore app is a new initiative to golf which has been approved by Golf Australia and the R&A as an approved method of scoring. This has been embraced quickly throughout the golfing community, with over 280,000 golfers now using the miscore app regularly. The Board are very excited to bring this cutting edge golf management system to Berwick Montuna and are confident members will enjoy this new service. Watch this space for further updates as the system will be phased in and should be fully operational by 1st September 2022.
