Vault 21 Otago U21 & U23 Championships
A total of 27 students were out to take on a pretty mild St Clair golf course on Friday 6th May, for the Vault 21 Otago U21 & U23 Championships.
Dominic Letford (Otago golf club) took out the U21 grade with a solid gross round of 3 under 68, he had a great tussle with fellow playing partner Will McLauchlan (Otago golf club) who finished with a 1 under 70.
Southland representative Liam Hewitt (Queens Park golf club) came out on top in the U23 grade with a gross par round of 71, Liam was always in control and despite a quadruple bogey on the last hole, he won by a shot over Otago representative Callum Judkins (Otago golf club) who finished with a 1 over 72.
Dominic also took home the top prize from major sponsor Vault 21 with an impressive nett score of 66.
Golf Otago would like to thank Vault 21 & St Clair golf club with their involvement of the tournament. It’s always great to see the students out enjoying themselves.
