St. Patrick’s Day @ Greystones

With no parade in the town for 2022, Captains Amanda and Danny’s social team put on a great event to mark St. Patrick’s Day in the club. The Captain’s Drive  which was to precede the event will be rescheduled.  Great music, great food and a little golf – including a hole in one on the 16th – were the order of the day.  With a full time sheet for the double nine hole scramble results were as follows:

Front nine:

Winners – Maria Madigan, Nuala Gunning, Brian Fawsitt and Alvin Gunning

Runners up – Joyce Kirwan, Áine O’Rourke, Inesa O’Gallagher and Jonathan Kriwan

Back nine:

Winners – Craig McCormack, Darren McCormack, Derek McCormack and Ashton McCormack

Runners up – Ann Marie Darcy, Máire Ní Shoidhail, John Darcy and Michael Joyce

Hole in one ( 16th ) – A very welcome visitor from Castleknock – Una Murphy

There was no real contest for best dressed lady with Polly O’Reilly playing off around +5 in this regard on the day !  Finbarr Fay won the best dressed man by a head, beating Neil Lawless into second place.
