[Men's Golf] Schulz Leads Hawks with 7th Place Finish at Warrior Invite

LOMPOC, Calif. – The San Diego Christian College men's golf team opened the 2022 golf season competing in the Westmont Warrior Invitational at the La Purisma Golf Course. The course will be the host site for the 2022 Golden State Athletic Conference Championships, giving the Hawks valuable course knowledge while also matching them up against their conference competition.

Leading the way for the Hawks was freshman, Troy Schulz who shot a consistent 77-77 for a 154 two-day total. His score was good enough for a seventh-place overall finish in the thirty-eight-man field.

After shooting an 80 on day one, Gustaf Lundberg improved his score by 3 strokes on the final day posting a 77 and a twelfth place finish.

Louis Techahongsa shot a top of the leaderboard 78 during the first round but struggled a bit during the final round moving from eleventh to thirty-third.
