Otago Ready for NZ Men’s Interprovincial Start

The 2021 NZ Men’s Interprovincial gets underway at the Ashburton GC tomorrow.

Otago team have had a good look at the course the past two days and are ready for Poverty Bay tomorrow morning.

The experienced Brandon Hodgson(Otago GC) will lead the team out this week playing at number 5.

Tom Lee (Otago GC) is the new boy on the block making his debut at number 1 this week.

Ryan Bellamy (St Clair) make a return after last playing in 2016

Younger brother Jacob (Port Chalmers) is back after debuting last year.

Callum Judkins makes his 3rd appearance in Otago’s Blue and Gold.

The Bellamy’s become the second set of brothers to play together for Otago at this event.

The late Joe Whitaker played alongside brother Francis in 1971 at Lochiel.

Otago are playing:

Poverty Bay and Southland Tuesday

Tasman Wednesday Afternoon

Canterbury Thursday Morning

Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay Friday.
