The main purpose of the Members’ Committee will be to provide support and recommendations to the
Club’s Executive for:-

Retaining and encouraging new members
Obtaining feedback on golf course, F&B and any other relevant issues
Assisting with promoting the enhancement of the golfer’s playing experience
Overseeing the appointment of the NEW Ladies and Gents Club Captains and establishing their
terms of reference

The committee will comprise:

Selected by a sub-committee of the Board of Directors from member nominations

The role of the Committee shall include, but not be limited to the following:

Course / Golf Carts – Monitoring the condition
Club Captains – organizing appointment and establishing terms of reference
Tournaments and competitions – recommending policies and assisting with organising
Entertainment / Social – assisting in developing/arranging the Club’s Calendar of Events and monitoring of the F&B offering and service levels;
Marshaling – assisting in recruiting and monitoring
Membership – assisting with membership retention, encouraging new members and promotion of the Club as a true “family gathering” place;
Sub-committees – Appointing sub-committees to provide feedback and assistance to BGC Executives in the areas of the course, tournaments, entertainment, membership, marshaling and promotion
Meetings – to be held every two months. An action list to be developed at each meeting and reviewed and updated at subsequent meetings

A summary of the decisions/plans confirmed at each Members’ Committee meeting will be posted to the members’ portal on the BGC website.

Management will provide a timely written response to the Committee to any recommendations made and actively oversee the execution of agreed actions.
