Post Tournament Notice – September Results
This month’s Trident Insurance / ANSA Motors / Consolidated Finance Monthly Golf Tournament took place this past Saturday, September 11th. The third of these events for the year following the pause of contact sports in Barbados. Similar to last month, Scott Foster once again found himself in the winner’s circle along with a number of other talented golfers.
He won the low gross category with a score of 73. Which also placed him in second place within the men’s first flight category behind winner Mike Jackman with a score of 71. Jason Ramsay placed first in his men’s second flight category with a score of 70, winning on count back against second place finisher Kailash Pardasani. Senior category winner Peter Johnson ended the day was a net 67, with Stephen Lewis following immediately behind. The relatively small field of Ladies produced three top finishers with Zerina Belgrave in first, while Helen Foster shot one of the lowest gross scores of the day, that being an 84.

At the end of each tournament, players with the best net scores in their respective categories receive winning prizes. These are provided by the title sponsors Trident Insurance and Consolidated Finance. ANSA Motors would then provide players with a test drive opportunity of their vehicles.
Prizes included personal smoothie blenders which the first-place winners greatly appreciated, as well as mini vacuum cleaners for the second-place winners.
These were presented by a sponsor representative, manager from Consolidated Finance, Sean Yearwood. These three companies from the ANSA McAl group continue to be proud Partners of the Barbados Golf Club. With more sponsored events to come the rest of this year, golfers of all ages and skill set have these medals to look forward to.
