Prendergast wins Club Cup in style

The Club Cup, an important fixture in the Golfer of the Year calendar, was won in style by Bernie Prendergast.

Bernie, playing off 24, shot a superb round of 39 points to claim victory. Her front nine included four three pointers on the third, fifth, sixth and eight holes. Her back nine was equally impressive, including a great birdie on the par 5 12th hole which yieldedfour points.

Great scores were returned on both days, with Juliette Morrison, Sally Mc Donnell and Eva Beirne collecting the category prizes.

The competition was very kindly sponsored by Ovelle Pharmaceuticals. Very well done to Bernie and all the prize winners.
