Hot scoring in Ladies Open Week events

The first ladies competition of Open Week was an 18 Hole Singles Stableford, kindly sponsored by CMF Auditors/Accountants.                                 .

This was keenly contested by the 126 strong entry, reflected by the superb scores returned. Category winners Niamh Maguire, Katherina Conneally Sloan and Nora Donaghy returned scores of 39pts, 40pts and 40pts respectively.

A two Lady Team event was held last Friday and, yet again, the scoring did not disappoint with winners Miriam O’Mahony partnering Juvenile Clara Egan to card a fabulous 52points and claim top spot. One point further behind was Briege Renaghan and Anne McArdle, with Marie Griffin and Catherine MacGuinness in third place. A big thank you to Tony Kierans’ Butchers for their very generous sponsorship of this event.
