Position: Human Resources Assistant
Department: Human Resources
Function: Scheduling appointments for HR Specialist, assist with orientation of new employees as well as helping Human Resource Manager and Human Resource Specialist in day to day functions.
Job Description:
• Background Checks-Enter applicants into OTIS
• Tracking of applications in Excel spreadsheet and manage current and past applications
• Weekly tracking of applications
• Call and schedule interviews with applicants
• Orientation
• Create Orientation Packets (tax paperwork, I9, Direct Deposit, Handbook Acknowledgement, Uniform Guide, Orientation certificates, Nametags)
• Set up Training Center for Orientation
• Email Bill Parlberg and Al Zehnder to invite to Orientation
• Update Job Posting Boards
• Ensuring that Job Postings and Job Descriptions are current and up to date
• Employee Verification forms
• Score PIs and enter into Predictive Index
• Maintaining Database of Employee Counseling Reviews/Illnesses
• Other duties as assigned or directed.
Requirements:
• Computer skills, high level of professionalism, high regard for confidentiality.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Sophomore year of college complete.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
