Open Mixed Greensomes Result

Forty Eight teams contested the Uphall Mixed Open yesterday. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome so many teams.  The weather was amazing if just a little windy offering challenging conditions on some holes.

The course was in excellent condition with very many favourable comments received from those participating.  Enormous thanks go to our very talented Greens Team who have kept the course in such immaculate condition during some challenging weather over the last few months.

Uphall Golf Club is extremely grateful for such support from many golfing teams from near and far.  We look forward to welcoming all once again in the near future.

Please note that this is a REVISED result and grateful thanks go to Gordon & Cherry Briggs for being so very honest in advising of a mistake which they made during the course of their game yesterday. Also to another couple, May Wynne & Kevin Wilson for their honesty in acknowledging they had signed for an incorrect score.

Uphall Golf Club is once again hosting a Ladies’ Greensomes Charity Event – Pink Day in aid of Breast Cancer Now.  The date is Sunday 22^nd August 2021.  On line booking is available now via the website and BRS.

We very much hope that many of those ladies participating in our Mixed Open will return with friends to support our excellent Charity Day.
