THE second major of the year – the PGA Championship – is here at Kiawah Island.

Rory McIlroy came into it as the favourite after winning the Wells Fargo Championship two weeks ago and winning by eight in 2012, the last time Kiawah hosted this event.

He looked back to something like his best as he hung on to win by a shot at Quail Hollow.
