Southland Country were to strong on Monday defeating the Otago Country 10-2 in a rear win.
Played at Gore this year the players were meet with heavy conditions and fog until mid morning.
Southland got off to the prefect start winning all 4 foursome matches in the morning.
The afternoon was much the same in the singles with Otago’s only highlights coming from Raewyn Devlin’s 6/4 win and half’s matches to Liz McRae and Becs Calder.
