[Men's Golf] Knox, Bears win Alice Lloyd Spring Invitational

One day after shooting the program's best 18-hole record stroke in school history (64), BJ Knox continued his fantastic play Sunday afternoon, firing a two-under 68 to shoot an eight-under 132 over the course of the Alice Lloyd Spring Invitational to earn Medalist honors and lead the Shawnee State men's golf program to its fourth invitational victory of the 2020-21 season Sunday evening in Richmond, Ky.

With its fourth invitational victory, the 2020-21 version of the Shawnee State golf program became just the fifth team in program history -- and the first since the 2001-02 unit -- to win four invitationals in a single campaign. SSU placed each of its five golfers (Knox, Patrick England, Elijah McCarty, Brett Bentley and Steven Zimmerman) in the top half of the 53-player field.
