Golf Festival Retrospective

It was our golf festival last week. Usually that is linked with “beer and music” but not this time ! The entry numbers for each days competition were great (David and Edwina were kept extra busy) and many positive comments were received. A big thank-you to our green-keepers for presenting the course in such good condition.

Also a great week for Chefs Caterers NW with many trying the menu from snacks to 3 course meals and surprise surprise the odd pint of beer, lager and glass of wine were sampled too. Good feedback from members and guests alike.

I would like to thank all the volunteers who manned the car park and did the Starter duty, couldn’t have done it without you.
