Sparks, the Superintendents Planning and Record Keeping System, launched a completely updated website at Sparks2.com.

“Monitoring chemical and fertilizer usage and costs has never been more important,” said Mike Plague, partner, Sydney Solutions, the company behind Sparks. “We wanted our new website to give turf managers a clear, concise overview of our system and encourage them to sign up for our free 30-day trial.”

The web-based planning and record-keeping system helps turf managers and golf course superintendents plan, schedule, calculate and control applications of pesticides and fertilizers. The system also makes it easy for turf managers to comply with regulations of inputs on their turf facilities, as well as stay on top of worker safety sheets and compliance logs.

The system was created by a team of IT and turf industry professionals who understand the needs of the golf course superintendent and provides powerful planning tools for:

  • Budgeting of fertilizers and other inputs;
  • Scheduling of applications year after year;
  • Calculating the right amount of product to use in each application; and
  • Generating accurate reports

Sparks is available as a web-based subscription and is affordably priced at only $239 per year. The new Sparks website was developed by the team at What’s Your Avocado? Marketing & Public Relations, a firm that specializes in turfgrass industry marketing.
