[Men's Golf] Sack Named CoSIDA Academic All-District
Doane Men's Golf member Roger Sack (SR/Lincoln, Neb.) has been named to the 2020 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 3 team for the At-Large Division. This is the second consecutive year that Sack was recognized on the team.
Sack wrapped up his college career a few months earlier than expected, however, he left a mark on the Tigers' golf program. He was recognized as a four-time all-conference performer and set the school record for lowest career scoring average with a 74.68 over 72 rounds. He holds the single-season scoring average record with a 74.04 set last season.
He is the lone representative from the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and is one of four golfers named to the men's list. The men's At-Large Division includes athletes who participate in golf, volleyball, wrestling, lacrosse, fencing, gymnastics, ice hockey, rifle, skiing, swimming, and water polo.
Sack graduated recently as a double major in economics and political science.
