PUBLIC NOTICE: UPDATE: Special Service Proposal No. 2020-01
Public Hearing
Special Service Proposal No. 2020-01, By-law 28-2020 Establish a rate for the collection of Garbage and Recyclables and operation of Transfer Site
(The Special Service is not an additional charge to ratepayers. Expenses for Garbage, Recyclables and operation of the Transfer Site have previously been included in annual municipal taxes.
In 2020 the amount for this service will be taken out of the annual taxes and listed on a separate line on the tax statement.)

Please be advised that Council will proceed with the Public Hearing regarding the special service tax as planned due to the significance of continuing with the annual financial plan process.
To encourage social distancing, the Special Service Public Hearing will be available via ZOOM (a web based video conferencing tool – this will allow anyone interested in attending the meeting to do so by telephone, or online)
We strongly encourage you to submit your questions or objections prior to April 6th, 2020 by contacting (204-483-5200 or email sg.cao@mtsmail.ca)
Council is asking anyone wishing to attend either in person, or online, or by teleconference the hearing to register at the municipal office (204-483-5200 or email sg.cao@mtsmail.ca). You do not have to be present at the hearing to file an objection.
