Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Our Response

Current Hours of Operation:

• Z Chefs Cafe (Takeout only): 11 am to 7 pm
• Zehnder’s Foodstore and Bakery: 8 am to 7 pm
• Zehnder’s Gift Shop: March 20-22 only from 10 am to 6 pm
• Zehnder’s Splash Village Waterpark is closed. Overnight lodging is available with rooms starting at $99.
Z Chef’s Cafe and Zehnder’s Foodstore and Bakery are located in the lower level of Zehnder’s Restaurant.

We understand that many of our guests have concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19). To us it’s all about trust. During this period of uncertainty, your trust in us matters. We have been blessed with generations of guests visiting our properties and with this heightened awareness of the risks associated with this virus we wanted to make you are aware of our response.

• A great deal of effort goes into keeping our facilities clean and safe. Company-wide, our team of housekeepers, dish workers, pool attendants and laundry staff work daily and continuously to keep our production areas, public areas, restrooms, guest rooms, dishes and flatware, laundry and waterparks clean and sanitary. It’s a never ending, 24 hour process.

• While I am proud of what we do daily, I asked our team to review current procedures and protocols and tweak an already aggressive focus on cleaning and sanitation.

• Beginning immediately, we have added staff to begin an increased frequency of wiping down and sanitizing all public and employee countertops, rails, door handles, public and employee restrooms, ATM’s, phone handles, menus and arcade games, etc. Anything that comes in contact with an employee or guest will get our attention.

• Hand sanitizers and wipes are available to all guests and employees.

• Proper and frequent handwashing procedures are being reinforced to all employees.

• We are asking all of our team to be sure that if a team member isn’t feeling well to be sure they do not come to work and to send them home or to a doctor if they appear ill.

Cleanliness and sanitation is like a religion to us, and we don’t take our responsibility or your trust in us lightly. We will continue to monitor this serious health issue for the safety of both our guests and employees.
