[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Place 7th in Home Invite at Cumberland Bear Trace
CROSSVILLE, Tenn. – On September 23-24, the Bryan College men's golf team battled for a 7th-place finish in a field of nine talented teams when the Lions hosted their own Bryan College Invitational on the challenging 6,928-yard Cumberland Bear Trace Golf Course. After the two days, it was Cumberland University out of Lebanon, Tenn. who bested the rest with a combined score of 597, edging fellow Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Tennessee Wesleyan University by two strokes who came in second with a 599. Cumberland shot a 302 in round one and followed it with the lowest total on day two with a 295. Tennessee Wesleyan shot the lowest round of the tournament, registering an impressive 288 on day one.
