John Wins August Monthly Medal

It was the  August Monthly Medal at Silverwood Golf Club on Saturday and the winner with a nett 65 was John Clarke, John had a front nine score of 38 with six pars at the 2^nd 4^th 6^th 7^th 8^th and 9^th holes, and three single bogeys, and a back nine of 42 with one birdie at the 18^th hole, three pars at the 13^th 14^th and 17^th holes, one double bogey at the 10^th hole, and four single bogeys to win by one shot.

In 2^nd place was David Ewing with a nett 66, his front nine of 40 included one birdie at the 8^th hole, two pars at the 1^st and 2^nd holes, and six single bogeys, and a back nine of 41 with six pars at the 11^th 12^th 13^th 16^th 17^th and 18^th holes, one double bogey at the 14^th hole, and two single bogeys.

3^rd place went to Brian Brady with a nett 69, he had a front nine of 39 with five pars at the 1^st 3^rd 4^th 5^th and 6^th holes, and four single bogeys, and a back nine of 42 with one birdie at the 12^th hole, four pars at the 13^th 14^th 17^th and 18^th holes, two single bogeys at the 15^th and 16^th holes, and two double bogeys.

The gross prize went to Ethan Headley with a gross 73, he had a front nine of 36 with one bogey at the 6^th hole and eight pars, and a back nine of 37 with one birdie at the 13^th hole, one bogey at the 16^th hole, and seven pars.

4^th place went to Robert Blevins with a nett 69 he had a front nine of 36 with one birdie at the 8^th hole, two bogeys at the 6^th and 7^th holes, and six pars, and a back nine of 40 with one birdie at the 18^th hole, one single bogey at the 11^th hole, one triple bogey at the 16^th hole, and six pars.

5^th place went to Shane Skelton with a nett 70 he had a front nine of 41 and a back nine of 40 with one birdie at the 18^th hole.

The senior prize went to Eamon Nelson with a nett 70.
