[Golf] Graceland Golf Camp was a Success

LAMONI, IA -  Graceland University hosted a Golf Camp for 25 participants at the Lamoni Golf and Country Club on June 25 through June 27. The outstanding field included young golfers from around Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri. The ages of participants ranged from first grade through Jr. High School. The instruction for the camp was provided by Lamoni Golf and Country Club Professional Dave Ranney, Graceland Coach Kevin Brunner, and college and high school golfers Jordan Lester, Molly Carey and Kristin Schaff. The instructors taught fundamentals of the game, proper etiquette, putting, chipping and the full golf swing. Each camper received a T-shirt, towel, cap, golf balls, divot tool, ball marker and golf tees. If smiles indicate success then many young golfers left feeling good about their game and experience.
