Now that the beautiful weather is here, be sure to book your spot for The Fortress’s upcoming summer events – The Fortress Craft Beer Classic and the annual Bogeys and Bourbon! The Craft Beer Classic is an 18-hole, 4-person scramble event that includes golf, dinner, craft beer and prizes.
Dinner is presented by Zehnder’s expert culinary staff and includes:
• Field Green Salad with Toasted Almonds, Strawberries, Feta Cheese and Grapefruit Shandy
• Cold Summer Vegetable Potato Salad with Dijon Vinaigrette
• Java Crusted Grilled Ribeye with Stout Glaze
• Juicy Brat Brined with Herb Roasted Chicken
• White Peach and Red Raspberry Trifle with Peachy Pom Ale Soaked White Cake

Bogeys and Bourbon
In addition, join us for The Fortress Bogeys and Bourbon 9-hole, Par 3 Challenge and enjoy a fun and relaxing evening of golf, refreshing bourbon cocktails and spectacular hors d’oeuvres! The Bogeys and Bourbon Challenge takes place on Friday, August 9th beginning with a 5:30 pm shotgun start and ends with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception at 7:00 pm. This event is fun for all skill levels!
The Bogeys and Bourbon menu includes:
• Muffuletta Skewers with Mortadella, Artisan Olives, Pepperoncini, Roasted Red Peppers, Smoked Provolone
• Heirloom Tomato Salad with Fresh Grilled Peaches, toasted Almonds, Feta Cheese, White Balsamic Herb Vinaigrette
• Lump Crab Meat Salad Stuffed Avocado in a spicy House-made Dressing
• Smoked Gouda Grits with blackened Jumbo Prawns with Double Smoked Bacon, Spinach and Portabella Mushrooms
• Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit Sandwiches with Baby Arugula, Honey Dijon Dressing and Pickled Yellow Teardrop Tomatoes
• Carved Slow Roasted Beef Brisket with Mustard Barbecue Sauce, White Barbecue Sauce, Pickled Red Onion, Warm Corn Tortillas, Onion Buns
• Butterbean and Grilled Sweet Corn Succotash
• Peach Cobbler and Bourbon Pecan Bread Pudding
