Thomas Win’s Mary Peter’s Qualifier

It was the Mary Peter’s Qualifier at Silverwood Golf Club on Saturday and the winner with a score of 43 pts was Thomas Smyth, he had a front nine score of 19 pts with two birdies at the 4^th and 7^th holes, three pars at the 3^rd 5^th and 8^th  holes, and four single bogeys, and a great back nine of two under par and 24 pts with another two birdies at the 13^th and 18^th holes and seven pars to win by two points.

In 2^nd place was Shane Mulholland with 41 pts, he had a front nine of 19 pts with six pars at the 1^st 2^nd 4^th 5^th 7^th and 8^th holes, one single bogey at the 6^th hole, and two double bogeys, his back nine of 22 pts had one birdie at the 11^th hole, two single bogeys at the 12^th and 13^th holes, one double bogey at the 17^th hole, and five pars.

3^rd place went to Daryl Patton with 41 pts, he had a front nine score of 20 pts with six pars at the 1^st 3^rd 4^th 7^th 8^th and 9^th holes, one single bogey at the 2^nd hole, and two double bogeys, and a back nine of 21 pts with six pars at the 10^th 11^th 12^th 13^th 14^th 17^th holes two single bogeys at the 15^th and 16^th holes, and a costly triple bogey at the 18^th hole.

The gross prize was collected by Ethan Headley with a gross 75, he had a front nine of 37 with one birdie at the 1^st hole, three bogeys at the 2^nd 6^th and 9^th holes, and five pars, and a back nine 38 with another two birdies at the 13^th and 18^th holes, four pars at the 11^th 12^th 15^th and 17^th holes, and three single bogeys.

4^th place went to John Marley with 39 pts, he had 20 pts on his front nine with one birdie at the 8^th hole, two single bogeys at the 2^nd and 6^th holes, and six pars, and a back nine of 19 pts with one birdie at the 14^th hole, three single bogeys at the 10^th 15^th and 16^th holes, and five pars.

5^th place went to Gareth Murphy with 38 pts he had a front nine of 18 pts and a back nine of 20 pts.

The senior prize was won by Jim Magee with 36 pts
