Has Justin Rose missed the cut at the Masters 2019?

Justin Rose is among the star names who will not be in the competition over the weekend.

He could only shoot a four-over-par score in the opening two rounds, with the cut line being +3.

The Englishman is just one of only 22 players to miss out, with 65 going onto compete in the final two days.

Champions from 2016 and 2017 – Danny Willett and Sergio Garcia – also missed the cut, while 2011 winner Charl Schwartzel and Par 3 contest victor Matt Wallace will be spectators for the rest of the tournament.

Is Justin Rose the current world number one?

Justin Rose is the world number one at the moment, having recently overtaken Dustin Johnson for the honour.

He became the best in the world in September last year, before the title swapped hands between himself, Johson and Brooks Koepka.

Rose has held the position for a total of 13 weeks.

What majors has Justin Rose won?

The 38-year-old has won just one major – the 2013 US Open.

But Rose has finished in the top three at every other event, losing a play-off for the 2017 Masters title to Sergio Garcia.

He was tied for second at last year’s Open which was won by Francesco Molinari, while he had finished third at the PGA Championship in 2012.
