The Wellness Team are currently very excited about the Moves Challenge which has just been undertaken across all The Club Company sites.
Members have been thoroughly enjoying competing against each other and the other clubs and have wholeheartedly embraced this challenge. There will be prizes awarded for the members who finish up top of the leaderboard!
Coming out of the busiest time of year in the Health & Fitness department, your Wellness Team continue to be hard at work keeping members happy with advice and encouragement, supporting whatever goals they are looking to achieve.
This is also a key time of year for golfers as the Summer season approaches. Your team are ready to assist with training and relevant programmes to get all golfers ready!
STUDIO CLASSES
With over 90 classes a week now on the timetable, members are enjoying a wider range and variety of activities than ever. We have added the Colin Chapman suite to the available studio spaces, thus enabling us to maximise Woodbury Park’s potential as a hub for classes and activities of varying styles.
The most recent additions to the class timetable have been GRIT, Boxercise and Outdoor Circuits which have all proved immensely popular. Pilates, Aqua and Group Cycle classes continue to be a smash hit and we are looking to add more classes over the coming months as the timetable continues to expand.
SWIM SCHOOL
Swim school has continued to go from strength to strength and is proving very popular with our younger members.
Our ASA qualified Swim Instructor, Annie Milne has been a pivotal figure in Woodbury Park’s Health & Fitness department for over 15 years. Annie continues to be as popular as ever with the children who regularly attend Swim School.
Our lessons take place on Tuesdays from 10.30am-11.30am for pre-schoolers and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm-6pm for children aged 4 years and above.
For more experienced swimmers, Annie is able to coach techniques and improve performance when preparing for competitive events.
