[Men's Golf] #8 Point Men's Golf Wins Spring Break Invitational by 7 Strokes; Fourth Win of Season

OPELIKA, Ala. -- The Point University men's golf team, ranked eighth in the NAIA National Top 25 Coaches' poll and ninth in the Bushnell Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll, finished first among schools with a 36-hole total of season-best 574 strokes (-2) at the Spring Break Invitational hosted by Lawrence Technological University (Mich.), March 14-15 at the Grand National Lake Course in Opelika, Ala.  The Skyhawks have won four events this season and have placed no lower than fourth in any of their 10 competitions during 2018-19 fall and spring seasons.  Coached by Steven Paine (5th season), Point plays next on April 8-9, at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Spring Invitational in Chattanooga, Tenn.
