[Women's Golf] Women's Golf Falcons Post Fifth Place Finish at Pinecrest Intercollegiate
Longview, Texas â The Friends University Falcons came in fifth place at the Pinecrest Intercollegiate that wrapped up today (Mar. 5) at the Pinecrest Country Club in Longview, Texas.
Tyler Junior College won the tourney title with a two-day score of 341-352-692, 16 shots ahead of second place University of Texas at Dallas.
The Falcons recorded a team score of 395-391-786, led by Taylor Sandoval (JR/Eagle, Colo.)'s 15th overall showing of 92-92-184.
Maddy Hart (SO/El Dorado, Kan.) (106-95-201) and Paige Savage (SO/Arlington, Texas) (97-104-201) were each tied for 20th, with Kaela Ruggles (FR/Lockhart, Texas) winding up 25th overall (100-106-206).
Deane Reaves was close behind in 27th with a score of 111-100-211.
The Falcons will next participate in the KCAC Tournament #1, set for Mar. 18-19 at the Crestview Country Club in Wichita.
