[Women's Golf] Lions Edge out Marymount in Close Match

​CARSON, CA. - The Links of Victoria Golf Course provided the backdrop for the tournament hosted by Marymount California University.  The Vanguard Lions and the Mariners dueled for the first time in program history and it could not have been much closer. Both teams were neck and neck on the turn and the Marymont golfers had a great back nine.  However, the Blue and Gold were able to post four scores below 90, giving them the edge they needed to tally the narrow victory in their favor. The final score of 337 to 341 awarded the Lions their third victory in their past four contests against a single school.
