Kart driver dies in Sonoma race
A 65-year old man died after crashing in a Northern California Karters event Saturday at Sonoma Raceway.
The vehicle in which the unidentified Manteca man drove spun and flipped in turn 8 on the primary 12-turn road course during race No. 2 in the Superkart Intercontinental E division.
The driver was transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa, where he died.
