IMPORTANT: Special General Meeting – 8.00 pm – Monday, 26th November 2018

Members may be aware that Club officials have been considering proposals for urgent repair and improvement work to the bar area of the Clubhouse.  This involves essential repair and improvement work to the electrics, heating and windows.  As part of this essential work it is also planned to undertake some refurbishment and redecoration of the bar area.

The purpose of this Special General Meeting is to seek members approval of the planned work and how it will be funded.  The Club has decided to have one item on the Agenda at this Special General Meeting to allow sufficient time for members to consider the proposals. 

In line with the current rules of the Club, only voting members can attend a Special General Meeting.  ( Voting Members are Honorary, Full, Senior Full, Adult Male 25-31 and Adult Male 18-24 )

Informal Discussion with Non-voting Members – 7.00 pm – Monday, 26th November 2018

The proposed work to the Clubhouse is for the benefit of all members.  The expenditure involved requires the approval of members at an AGM or Special General Meeting.  At present only voting members of the Club can attend such a meeting.

The Club is keen to ensure that all members of the Club have an opportunity to consider these essential works.  Therefore, in advance of the Special General Meeting, Club officials will be available between 7.00 pm -7.45 pm to answer any questions Lady Members or House Members might have about the planned work.

Both Meetings will be held on the Dance Floor area of the Clubhouse.
