[Men's Golf] Trevecca Men's Golf | David Head Adds First 2019-20 Trojan Signee
NASHVILLE –Trevecca Nazarene University director of golf David Head announced the addition of Ryan Demit to the men's golf program on Monday.
David Head said, "I couldn't be happier to welcome Ryan to our 2019-20 Men's Golf Roster. He is a talented young golfer who isn't shy about making a commitment to work hard to become the best golfer he can be. As he continues this work in the coming year, we believe Ryan will challenge to make significant contributions starting with the 2019-20 season. We know he will have a wonderful career wearing the Purple and White On the Hill at Trevecca."
RYAN DEMIT
Demit is originally from Milton, Georgia where he attended Cambridge High School. Demit was coached at Cambridge by Bob Bordas.
Demit had several top five finishes while in high school. At the SJGT Wynklakes, Demit shot a 74 in both rounds to win the tournament. Demit placed fourth at SJGT Achasta with a two-day total of 73 and 70.
Demit qualified for the USGA US junior tournament and finished fourth with a 74. Demit placed second in the 2017 Cambridge Cup with a 69. Demit also succeeded in the classroom lettering all four years and was the team captain his junior and senior years.
