[Men's Golf] Lemaster leads Rio to 8th place finish

    FLORENCE, Ind. - Jarod Lemaster carded a 6-over par 77 on Tuesday to help the University of Rio Grande nail down eighth place in the River States Conference Men's Golf Fall Preview, which ended its two-day run at the Belterra Resort.
    Lemaster, a sophomore from Jackson, Ohio, vaulted 15 positions in the individual standings based on his strong showing and finished in a three-way tie for 11th place.
    As a team, Rio maintained the No. 8 position it held after Monday's action with a two-day total of 104-over par 672.
    The RedStorm finished two shots behind Ohio Christian for seventh place and five shots ahead of ninth-place finisher Point Park.
