Rules Modification •
Currently a Committee may adopt a Local Rule stating that stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.
I did not find anything similar in the Committee Procedures that will be there from 2019.
Regardless of the fact that the loose impediments can be removed without penaltiy, we also know that if in removing them the ball should move, there would be a penalty stroke.
We also know that performing a shot from a bunker to a ball with a nearby stone could create danger, it seems strange to me that the RB's did not take this element into consideration.
It is also up to you that this type of local rule is no longer adoptable?
