[Women's Golf] Vikings Finish in 3rd-Pace at Heart Preview; Kerrigan and Nelson Finish Top-5

Lake Ozark, Missouri – The Viking women's golf team competed at the Heart Preview hosted at Osage National Golf Club. Grand View had two golfers finish in the Top-5 of the individual leaderboard which helped the team finished in 3rd-place of 9 teams.

Karli Kerrigan (JR/Ankeny, IA) carded the lowest score for the Vikings. Kerrigan shot a 162 (82-80) for a share of 3rd-place. Kimberly Nelson (SR/Miri, Sarawak) finished a single stroke behind her teammate while shooting a 163 (84-79). Nelson's performance gave her a share of 5th-place when the tournament ended. The senior's second round of 79 was the lowest single-round score by a Grand View golfer.                                                       

No. 9 William Penn University won the event shooting a total score of 641 (320-321). Brittany Evans, also of William Penn, won the event. Full results can be seen below.
