[Women's Golf] Indiana Tech Claims Women's Golf Title; All-Conference Honors Released
Indiana Tech won it's seventh Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's golf championship with strong showings in the last two jamborees. The Warriors, who own the most championships of any other team, bested last year's champion UNOH by 12 strokes and now owns the record for the lowest 18-hole (297) and 36-hole (600) rounds. The season normally consists of three 36-hole jamborees, but was shortened by 18 holes when the second round of the first jamboree was cancelled due to inclement weather.
The conference also announced its All-Conference Teams based on play during the fall season. Individual of the Year awards, All-Academic, and Champions of Character will be released in the spring. The spring tournament is set for April 18-20 at Gull Lake View Resort in Augusta, Mich. where all teams play for the league's automatic berth to NAIA nationals.
