[Women's Golf] Women's golf starts strong in Georgia

Georgetown College women's golf teed off the fall season at the Jekyll Island Golf Course – Pine Lakes 2. Third-year coach Marlene Schulte saw a great showing from her top three players – Baylee Salyers, Mary Catherine Borders and Jordan Frodge.

"This was a great showing and start for my top three," Schulte said. "I believe all three are contenders for all-conference awards, which is configured over the course of our fall and spring seasons.

"Mary led us through the preseason with the best start of her collegiate career, to have Jordan join her is phenomenal. To find success in our conference, though, we need that fourth scoring player to step up and join the top three with low scores. I know Mary, Baylee and Jordan are capable of pushing their teammates to help our team find success."
