[Men's Golf] Sack Takes 7th at Grand View Meet; Team 7th

Doane Men's Golf competed at the Grand View Viking Classic in Polk City, Iowa, on Monday and Tuesday. The Tournament Club of Iowa was the host site with par set at 71 for both rounds.

Doane posted a two-day total of 598 (302-296) to place 7th overall in the tournament. Bellevue was the team champion with a score of 564.

Roger Sack (JR/Lincoln, Neb.) paced the Tigers with a two-day total of 143 (71-72). He tied for 7th overall with a one-over par score. Ty Crandon (FR/Lincoln, Neb.) finished in a tie for 20th with a score of 148 after shooting a pair of 74's.

Kyle Zimbelman (FR/North Platte, Neb.) tied for 29th with a 152 (77-75). Takuma Yamashita (SO/Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) finished with a 155 (80-75). JR Kanemura (JR/Lodi, Calif.) posted a 164 (85-79) to tie for 54th.

The Tigers wrap up the fall season on October 12-13 at the Nebraska Intercollegiate meet held in Norfolk, Neb.
