[Golf] ASBURY GOLF TEAMS DEFEAT BRESCIA IN MATCH-PLAY EVENT

WILMORE, Ky. --- The Asbury men's and women's golf teams combined to post a decisive 16-4 match-play victory over River States Conference (RSC) foe Brescia University Monday, October 1, at Connemara Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky. 

The Eagles swept today's singles matches 10-0 after building a 6-4 lead in the opening round of competition.  The women's team returns to action October 8-9 to close out the fall season at the RSC Fall Preview at the Belterra Golf Club in Florence, Ind. The men's team will conclude the fall schedule in the RSC Fall Preview at Belterra on October 29-30.
